Quality Control Manager:
Position Requirements:
- Graduate of any Engineering Course preferably with PRC License.
- With good scholastic records
- At least 3 years experience in Quality functions in a gas manufacturing plant
- Knowledge in QMS, ISO 9001, 5S, IQA Tools and SPC is an advantage
- Is a visionary and has strategic planning/supervisory/technical laboratory skills
- Can work well under pressure and with less supervision
- With good communication and interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible in ensuring conformance to products standards and attainment of quality finished products and in the development and enhancement of systems, processes and procedures aimed in improving productivity, continual improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluates the quality management system and propose continual improvement both on services and product quality and upholds its maintenance and improvement.
- Responsible for planning and implementation of efficient maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.
Quality Control/Audit
- Verifies products sampling/testing to determine conformance to quality standard; in-process, production, output, plant inventory
- Recommends corrective measures to address findings of quality non-conformances based on the result of the product sampling or quality audit:
- Addresses customer complaints related to products and services
- Investigates non-conforming products
- Initiates corrective actions
- Formulates preventive actions
- Responsible to reject non-conforming products
- Visits customer and install quality system to address satisfaction
- Responsible for refilling liquid helium to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MIR) of the different hospitals in the Philippines.
System, Processes and Procedures
- Conducts studies aimed in improving/enhancing systems, processes and procedures in plant, sales, marketing and other operational functions
- Evaluates feasibility of submitted project proposals
- Monitors implementation of approved project proposals
- Conducts technical research in determining other product applications
Information/Communication
- Conducts products orientation and product application to employees and customers
- Responds to customers queries and complaints on matters relating to product quality
- Conducts training and orientation to Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Operators.
- Meets with staff on daily basis to discuss on activities, issues and concerns
Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by superiors.
