<li>As a liaison officer with the Department, she shall keep herself abreast with the requirements of the Department and the latest available technology on the prevention, control and abatement of pollution;</li>
<li>Attend the meetings for Pollution Control Officers which may from time to time be called by the Department;</li>
<li>Facilitate compliance of the establishment she represents with the requirements that may from time to time be prescribed by the Department;</li>
<li>Handle other matters of environmental concern as required by his employer.</li>
<li>All accredited private PCO shall submit a periodic report to the respective Regional Officer of the Department every quarter or as often as maybe required, based on the operation and maintenance of pollution control source and control facilities concerned.</li>

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conducts roving inspection of the plant to check machine condition (i.e. using senses of hearing, smelling, feeling and seeing.)</li>
<li>Checks for non-conformance report, repair request, and for scheduled maintenance to be performed and evaluate which one is urgent and important.</li>
<li>Conducts verification and evaluation on reported non-conformance or repair request, and make recommendation based on facts and other pertinent data.</li>
<li>Prepares work permit, tools and materials needed for the job.</li>
<li>Responsible in the implementation of repairs, or scheduled preventive maintenance and makes repair reports.</li>
<li>Conducts monitoring of all plant equipment parameter and makes recommendation and action on off specs parameters.</li>
<li>Conducts weekly temperature monitoring H2 rectifier and electrolyzer bus bar connections, and makes trending, recommendation and action on detected hot spot.</li>
<li>Conducts monthly vibration testing/monitoring on production equipment, makes trending and analysis</li>
<li>Conducts testing/ monitoring of electrolyzervoltage reading, makes trending analysis.</li>
<li>Assist plant operator during power interruption and emergency shutdowns.</li>
<li>Must report for work even on holidays during the absence of QCM, and supervise the task assigned to other staff and make reports on accomplishments to QCM and GM.</li>
<li>Formulate training materials to enhance technical knowledge and develop confidence of all maintenance staff.</li>
<li>Evaluates the quality management system and propose continual improvement both on services and product quality and upholds its maintenance and improvement.</li>
<li>Conducts studies aimed in improving/ enhancing systems, processes and procedures in plant, sales, marketing and other operational functions.</li>
<li>Makes daily accomplishment report and prepares monthly reports.</li>
<li>Reports and plant operation related abnormalities to the General Manager/ QC Manager.</li>
<li>Responsible for getting the refilling notice from sales before the end of the day.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.</li>

<li>Evaluates the maintenance staffs work output, and recommends procedure or tools to make work more efficient.</li>
<li>Makes or revises work instructions and forms to be more effective, efficient and accurate for pallet and cylinder maintenance.</li>
<li>Updates the cylinder and pallet and vehicle maintenance record and have a monthly summary to be presented in monthly meeting.</li>
<li>Updates summary of non-conformance and corrective action reports on vehicles, and product packaging (pallet &amp; cylinder) that are intendedfor TPM Department.</li>
<li>Receives non-conformance reports on vehicles, cylinders and pallet issued to QCD and present to TPM/MFG Manager to discuss for corrective action.</li>
<li>Receives repair request on vehicles, cylinders &amp; pallets and informs TPM/MFG Manager to discuss the work to be done and the schedule for the said request.</li>
<li>Updates the calendar of work schedule based on the non-conformance reports and the repair request generated.</li>
<li>Prepares Work Permits for the scheduledmaintenance to be implemented and have it signed by TPM/MFG Manager.</li>
<li>Informs the maintenance staff assigned to implement the works.</li>
<li>Ensures that the maintenance conducted are properly and completely documented immediately after the work is done or within 24 hrs.</li>
<li>Compiles the maintenance records to its respective binder and updates the vehicle maintenance summary record.</li>
<li>Formulate training materials to enhance technical knowledge and develop confidence of all maintenance staff.</li>
<li>Evaluates the quality management system and propose continual improvement both on services and product qualityand upholds its maintenance and improvement.</li>
<li>Conducts studies aimed in improving /enhancing systems, processes and procedures in plant, sales, marketing andother operational functions.</li>
<li>Makes daily accomplishment report and prepares monthly reports.</li>
